This body of work is inspired by the hours I’ve spent on roadways.  Its about my experience of America, of living in an age that is  propelled by fossil fuels.  While I approach the subject with joyous exuberance, I also lay in bed at night listening to the drone of Interstate 91, and I think, ‘This is the sound of the ice caps melting’.
